Made famous by British comedy drama Doc Martin, Port Isaac is a picturesque fishing village on the north coast of Cornwall. While a little touristy – however probably more so in non-Covid times – the village retains its charm, as evidenced in this stunning view we came across! On the menu for lunch was a lobster and avocado salad, crab sandwich, and a cup of chowder – seated outside a little fishmonger we came across. When in Cornwall! 🦞🦪🦀🐟

I’ve been meaning to post photos from⠀
Cornwall for weeks, but I had interviews and started a new job right after returning and have been busy getting back into the work-from-home swing of things since! England is back in lockdown (understandably), and these photos are all from a chilly early October trip to the South West – the most naturally picturesque part of the country I’ve seen thus far. The beaches felt like home 💚🇳🇿⠀

It’s safe to say loads of things have happened since getting back. New job, two elections 🇳🇿🇺🇸, lockdown part II... I must say it would be quite nice to be spending the lockdown seaside back in Cornwall, working by a window with a view over the sea – a girl can dream!⠀

Pictured is Wheal Coates, one of the stunning St Agnes tin mines situated along a coastal path between St Agnes and Chapel Porth Beach. This walk was beautiful, with crashing waves as your soundtrack and crisp wind to cool you down as you hike. Highly recommended (once we can travel again of course)!

This morning I got up a little earlier, put on a coat and a hat, made some coffee in my Keepcup, and headed out for a walk in the morning sun. It’s greyed over now so I’m so glad I got out early enough for the sky to be bright blue and streaked with pretty cloud patterns! My whole street is currently lined with red, orange, and yellow trees, some of the brightest autumn colours I’ve probably seen in my life and they’re right on my doorstep! Definitely need to make more time in the mornings for walks before I sit down at my desk for a day of working from home. 🍂🌞🐿☕️✨

The other weekend we took a little trip to Angel f

The other weekend we took a little trip to Angel for a wander around the canals and a stop at this quaint little Japanese tea shop, Katsute 100. Things have started to cool down a lot in London, so a steaming cup of Oolong was a perfect afternoon treat - with a delicious side of matcha cheesecake of course!
